Ghosts and Birthdays

It has been a hectic couple days. Classes have been crazy and the work load had been piled on. On top of our final project we have been helping on an actual international arbitration, which means we have been spending long nights in the law library reading case after case after case. We were all looking forward to a little distraction.

Today is Aaron's birthday and we were all looking forward to helping him celebrate. We planned on dinner at a restaurant called "The Texas Embassy" (what can I say I think we were getting to be a little homesick). I wanted to plan something fun for all of us to do and I had heard about the Haunted London Tours. As soon as I told Aaron about them he was all for it. He said he liked the idea of spending the night with his arm around me protecting me from the scary monsters that might be roaming the streets of London. I laughed at him, but allowed him to feel like the big strong man he so wanted to feel like..haha.

We were suppose to meet the tour guide in Central London at dusk. We got ready and headed out to catch the tube. Since it was Aaron's birthday I wanted to make sure I looked extra good tonight. I had been saving a brown v-neck tank top with silver sparkles down the front for a night out, but I decided it looked too good with my denim mini to pass it up tonight. With a super cute outfit I headed out the door to meet everyone else outside.

We made it to the place we were suppose to meet the tour guide and prepared for a scary look at London. Aaron's arm did not leave my body throughout the entire tour. I wish I could say it was scary and we had lots of fun, but we were so disappointed. The tour guide was pointing out haunted flies and ghost mice. And some of the stories he was telling I was sure I had heard before and when I had heard them they had not happened in London. We still tried to make the best of it and have fun.

After the scary London tour, we headed out to the restaurant for dinner and drinks. When we got there I made sure I told them it was Aaron's birthday. We had great dinner and the drinks were flowing. When it was time for dessert they brought out this HUGE brownie for Aaron with sparklers on top. He was so embarrassed when they made him put a sombrero on and stand up while we all sang happy birthday. All in all I think he had a great time at dinner.

After dinner we all headed back to the flat since we did have class early the next morning. Once we got there we were standing outside my room when I told him I had one more surprise for him. I grabbed him by the hand and led him into my room. I told him to occupy himself with my laptop or books I had laying around while I used the bathroom.

During one of the many conversations we had he had mentioned that he had the catholic school girl image stuck in his head every since I told him I wore plaid uniform skirts all through school. He had also mentioned that he thought it would be so hot to see me in one. During one of my study breaks this past week I had found a fantasy gift store and bought myself a little plaid skirt and knee high white socks. I already had a pair of Mary Jane shoes so it would be perfect.

While in the bathroom I changed out of my clothes and into the plaid skirt, knee highs, and just a white bra as a top. I even put my hair in pig tails and touched up my make-up a little. I was actually pretty proud of myself of how good this had turned out. I grabbed a candle I had in my bathroom and lit it before walking out. On my way out I hit the light and put the candle on my desk.

i stood there with a huge grin on my face and said, "Happy birthday!", as I held my arms out to him. His eyes went big and this huge smile appeared across his face.

"It is a very happy birthday," he said with that grin getting bigger by the second.

As I started walking towards him in my best seductive walk I kept giggling inside my head, I had never done the dress up thing and was actually kind of nervous.

When I finally reached him I straddled his lap. He was sitting on my desk chair and I could feel he was excited to have his birthday present sitting in front of him. I wrapped my arms around him and he kissed me. He kissed me one of those make-your-knees-buckle kisses of his.

He looks into my eyes and says, "You really are amazing A., I know I say it a lot but I can't get over it. I am so happy I found you."

He seemed to be all for trying out the outfit right there on that chair and who was I to say no to the birthday boy..hehe. In a matter of seconds we were going it at it hot and heavy and at some point we did make it over to the bed. How, I really don't know. My memories of what happened and how are clouded by the pleasure we were both feeling at that moment.

While we were both lying there breathless he smiled and said, "Now that was a happy birthday to me!"
